Message from our Chairman
My Fellow Nassau Republicans, Thank you for your dedication and support to the Party!! 2012 has its challenges ahead of us and it is important that we come together to be ready to support our Republican candidates after the primary and the convention in August. We will be looking for volunteers to work our phone banks, walk our precincts and get out the vote. I am proud of our many accomplishments during 2011: successful fundraisers including the Golf Tournament and our Lincoln Day in December. These successes were not possible without your commitment and support. I hope that I can continue to count on your support in the year to come as we work to put Nassau County clearly in the conservative column. We are currently planning the 11th Annual Roy C. Taylor, Jr. Memorial Golf Tournament to be held at the Amelia River Golf Club on Monday, April 23rd. Please contact us if you would like to volunteer, donate services, auction items or be a sponsor. We have been working on improving our technology and continue to look for volunteers to help with this process. We recently moved into our new headquarters!! Thank you to DeeDee Corbin and her grandsons, Tony Ottley, Mary Tanner, Orlando Avila, Jim and Millie Stevenson, John Martin, Conrad Omansky and Gail Biondi for their help. Our battle cry is simple and you have heard it before: LET’S GET TO WORK!! Thank you, God Bless You and God Bless America. Cherie Billings, Chairman, Republican Party of Nassau County What is the REC?The Republican Executive Committee (also known as the REC) is the governing body of the Republican Party of Nassau County. Members of the REC (the Republican precinct committeemen and committeewomen) also approve the Party’s constitution, rules, policies & procedures, and budget. The REC also plays an important role in the grassroots effort of the Party and the overall team effort to get Republicans elected in Nassau County.
