Fernandina Beach, FL — The Republican Party of Nassau County is calling out the latest wave of political theater from the left as the local Democrat machine continues to engage in misleading and divisive tactics aimed at undermining Congressman Aaron Bean and the conservative values Nassau County voters overwhelmingly support.

On Wednesday, local Democrats held yet another Fake Town Hall—this time trotting out failed former Congressman David Jolly, a political turncoat who abandoned the Republican Party only to become a registered Democrat and full-time talking head for the far-left media. Jolly, who has flipped more times than a pancake on Sunday morning, was the keynote speaker for this staged event that conveniently excluded Congressman Bean and any semblance of balanced discourse.

“The Republican Party of Nassau County is aware of yet another sham 'town hall' staged in Fernandina Beach—conveniently scheduled without any consideration for Congressman Bean’s availability. These events are nothing more than political theater orchestrated by Democrats desperate to push their agenda without accountability. The headliner? Failed former Congressman David Jolly, a political opportunist who abandoned Republican principles and now pretends to be a moderate Democrat when it suits him. Jolly can’t seem to pick a side on anything—making him the perfect mascot for a party that’s lost its moral compass. Nassau County voters deserve real leadership, not staged spectacles with washed-up politicians who stand for nothing,” said Nassau County Republican Party Chair Darron Ayscue

Now, in a blatant attempt to score headlines and rile up their base, the same Democrat group plans to stage a protest outside Congressman Bean’s district office in downtown Fernandina Beach. Make no mistake—this isn’t about civic engagement. This is political posturing from a fringe group out of touch with the hardworking families of Nassau County.

While Democrats waste their time with street protests and mock town halls, Congressman Bean remains focused on delivering real results for our community—fighting for border security, fiscal responsibility, parental rights, and conservative values that put America First.

The Republican Party of Nassau County stands firmly with Congressman Bean and the people of this district, and we will not be distracted by the left’s desperate sideshows. The Republican Party of Nassau County meets at Shuckers Oyster Bar, 96008 Wade's Place, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034, the 3rd Thursday of every month at 7 PM.
