Who are Nassau County Young Republicans?

Nassau County Young Republicans are registered Republicans 40 years old and under, who are interested in taking an active role in Republican Party politics.

Nassau County YR’s take part in Nassau County Republican Executive Committee activities in their communities; hosting voter registration drives, phone bank operations, being campaign managers, providing community service assistance, support and most importantly running for public office themselves.

Anyone, between the ages of 18 and 40 who is registered Republican in Nassau County can apply to be a Nassau County Young Republican club member.

Purpose of the Nassau County Young Republicans

The Nassau County Young Republican Club provides the opportunity for young people who are interested in good government to:

  • Learn about their governmental and political institutions
  • Participate in the political process
  • Become better informed and more involved citizens

Through the Club, they can develop their political knowledge and understanding of the political process, issues of the day, and as citizens become more effective voters and campaign workers. Participating in the Club, gives YR’s inside access to Republicans running for office and an opportunity to actively help them in their campaigns.
