FFRW Ambassadors for Florida

Dear FFRW Club President,

We have a wonderful opportunity to promote our beautiful Sunshine State and be Ambassadors of Goodwill at the same time.

As you all know, the next NFRW Convention will be here in Orlando in September 2009. Even though we are in the midst of many political campaigns right now, our convention committee is hard at work to bring the Federated women the best convention ever.

We are anxious to bring this news to every state and extend a personal invitation to their members. I know many of us have travel plans this summer that will take us all around the world. But we also spend many days and weeks traveling right here at home in our own beautiful country.

Let’s promote Florida and the Convention at the same time by calling the NFRW State President of the state in which you are visiting. If you are on an Alaskan cruise, what fun to call Paulette Simpson, 1-907-364-3179 and say Hello from Florida. Or if you are sunning on the beach in Hawaii, give Adele Rugg, 1-808-879-9964, a call and wish her well. You can call our wonderful friend, Millie Rogers in Georgia and say “Hi,” or Suzanne Crow in Louisiana. Are you planning a trip to Big Sky country or to the Rocky Mountains? Have you been to Las Vegas lately?

If by chance you have recently returned from a state, send the president an email and let her know how much you enjoyed visiting her state.

We want everyone who attends our convention to feel special – because they are. We want them to know that they are good friends and show them our warm Florida hospitality,

Dear Presidents, please share this with your club members. Imagine if Joyce Waggoner in Oregon or Mary Ann Garvey in Pennsylvania received 100 or more calls from Florida Federated women in the next year. What a great way to form new friendships and let others know how much we care.

I know I’m planning to contact Mary McAbee in South Carolina and Valerie Jean White in North Carolina when I’m in their states in October.
